The company’s groundbreaking use of big data and mathematical algorithms to predict consumer behavior has transformed entire industries.

The brief: As its first Canadian PR mandate, FICO commissioned KLC to help raise brand profile in Canada around more than just its credit-score services. FICO sought to generate discussion around its decision-management and predictive analytics offerings specifically in the financial services, retail and marketing sectors.

The outcome: KLC worked closely with FICO’s global PR team to leverage content and key learnings in other markets, but developed a strategy for a strong, Canadian-specific program. Utilizing content with Canadian-specific quotes, talking points and data, KLC generated significant media attention and began building ongoing relationships with relevant B2B publications. As a result, FICO achieved over 120 media hits across Canada within the first year of the mandate and became a recognized name among key vertical media targets.
